Charles R. Kyle Vance

Houston Commercial Law Lawyer & Criminal Defense

Kyle Vance was born in Pasadena, Texas and graduated from Sam Rayburn High School in 1988.  Kyle moved to Abilene, Texas where he played football while attending Hardin-Simmons University in 1990.  Kyle then proudly enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.

Being honorably discharged from the Marines, Kyle moved to Austin, Texas and began working in the auto industry.  He gained valuable business experience as he managed a used car dealership and a repossession company.

In 1997, Kyle moved back to the Houston area and assisted as he and his father founded one of the largest repossession companies in the country.  This company was featured on the Discovery Channel’s "Repossessors", a documentary profiling the sometimes controversial business of repossessions.  Kyle was able to mold the

company into an industry leader by developing a proprietary database and online system that revolutionized the industry.  Kyle oversaw the operations and administration of the corporation as well as the acquisitions and mergers of several entities.

In 1999, Kyle graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with a bachelors’ degree, and in 2002, he began his legal studies at South Texas College of Law.  In 2005, Kyle worked as a Legal Intern in the South Texas College of Law General Civil Clinic.  Upon graduation, Kyle worked with the Law Offices of R.B. Stanton, where he gained a wide variety of experience in general business litigation, creditor's rights, real property, business organizations, and personal injury.  After Kyle was licensed in November of 2005 by the State Bar of Texas, he practiced as a solo attorney until joining the firm of Musick & Musick, LLP in February 2006.  Since joining the firm, Kyle has achieved great success in criminal cases as well, including parole revocation hearings.  Kyle is also a recent graduate of the Criminal Trial Lawyers College offered by the Criminal Defense Lawyers Project and Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
